The Galilee Society´s program activities are based in four professional departments:
The Environmental Justice Center aims to achieve equitable environmental conditions for the Palestinian Arab citizens of Israel by using advocacy and research to increase awareness and promote environmental justice.
The Health Rights Center – The Galilee Society considers health not as an isolated issue but as a core component in a series of interlinked elements necessary for development. The Health Rights Center works to achieve full health rights and equal services for the Palestinian citizens of Israel in order to improve their overall health and welfare status.
The Naqab Department – The Arab Bedouin living in the Naqab (Negev) desert in Southern Israel constitute one of the most under-served populations in Israel. The Naqab Department strives to elevate the overall health status of the Bedouin and to empower their communities to lead their own development and advancement.
Rikaz Databank – The Databank for the Palestinian Minority in Israel is an online resource which aims to empower, develop and advance the Palestinian community by providing valuable socio-economic information on this population and comparative data with the majority Jewish population.
